Requirements

  • U.S. citizens or work-authorized individuals only. We are not considering visa sponsorship or foreign worker programs at this time.

  • Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
  • Previous experience in housekeeping preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds (with or without accommodation)

  • This job operates in conditions that will include odors/dust, cleaning chemicals, and/or laundry chemicals.
  • This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain rooms, suites, and indoor common areas
  • Replenish linens, remove trash, and maintain a spotless environment
  • Report lost-and-found items and assist with guest deliveries
  • Occasionally assist with furniture movement and storage management
  • Work efficiently to meet quality and performance expectations
  • Strip units of soiled linens
  • Remove trash from units
  • Clean units including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks
  • Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection
  • Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
  • Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens
  • Report missing inventory and supplies to Supervisor
  • Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage closets
  • Attend all training sessions and perform practical application of training
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist in solving guest complaints promptly
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency so units are turned on time
