Your Role as a Traveling Field Service Technician As a Traveling Field Service Technician, you'll travel to different locations as needed to support our clients with work orders, special projects, installations, equipment updates, and more. Travel assignments may last up to three weeks at a time.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of equipment repair experience or equivalent training.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to read schematics.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays of up to three weeks at a time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
  • The ability to work independently, pay close attention to detail, and remain organized.
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, drive for extended periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and work at heights over 6 feet.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on electromechanical equipment in diverse settings.
  • Perform preventive maintenance while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
  • Provide expertise on special projects such as installations and equipment updates.
  • Skillfully use hand and power tools for equipment assembly, disassembly, and repair.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, delivering exceptional service that reflects our commitment to quality.
