Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team and help support hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day. MUST be willing to work in multiple locations across the Toledo, OH area.

  • Willingness to travel in a personal vehicle.
  • Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
  • Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
  • Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
  • Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
  • Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Someone who’s physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
  • A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
  • A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
  • Willingness to be COVID-19 vaccinated required due to hospital access.
