About The Position

As the Traveling Estate & Grounds Specialist, you are entrusted with the care and presentation of a private estate while supporting the natural beauty of our hotel properties across New Mexico. Your work directly impacts the guest experience, creating welcoming, visually stunning environments that reflect the authenticity and pride of Heritage. This role plays a key part in preserving the landscapes that bring our spaces to life and connect our guests to the culture and spirit of the Land of Enchantment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of grounds maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Some experience or knowledge of various industry equipment
  • Knowledge of landscaping, plant care, lawn maintenance, and seasonal garden upkeep
  • Understanding of weed control, pest management, and general grounds care practices
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of detail and presentation
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work across multiple locations
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain company insurance requirements
  • Background and pre-employment screening required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the grounds, landscaping, and overall presentation of a private estate with a high level of detail and care
  • Provide grounds and landscape maintenance support across multiple Heritage properties as needed
  • Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, seasonal color, gardens, and all landscape elements
  • Perform irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair, ensuring efficient and effective water management
  • Maintain parking lots, walkways, and entryways, including snow and ice removal as needed
  • Utilize knowledge of weed and pest control methods to preserve landscape health
  • Ensure all work activities conform to safety, sanitation, and health regulations and company policies
  • Travel between properties as needed to support operational and landscape needs
  • Operate and utilize industry equipment with general knowledge and safety awareness
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe outdoor work environments across all locations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
