About The Position

Join our dynamic and thriving dental practice as a Traveling Endodontics Dental Assistant! At Great Expressions Dental Centers, we're seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact our patients' oral health. This position travels between our Fayetteville, Decatur, Cascade, and Stockbridge locations

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous dental assisting experience
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Endodontics assistant
  • MUST TRAVEL
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.
  • Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
  • Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
  • Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification preferred, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
  • Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
  • Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
  • New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
  • New York: Not applicable.
  • Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
  • Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
  • Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
  • Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
