Location:  Were expanding in Fort Wayne and seeking two experienced Electricians to support a federally funded VA Hospital project focused on critical infrastructure and life safety systems. Duration of role is roughly 9-12 months with lucrative Prevailing Wages. Position Summary: As an Electrician at MGI, you'll install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and life safety systems including fire alarm, and hospital-grade infrastructure. You'll work alongside seasoned foremen and superintendents who value productivity, safety, and team accountability.

Requirements

  • Valid journeyman license or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience
  • Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and jobsite safety

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hospital or healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with fire alarm systems, and life safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

Responsibilities

  • Install conduit, wiring, panels, and devices per NEC and VA specifications
  • Perform layout and rough-in for hospital-grade construction and remodels
  • Install and maintain Life Safety Systems such as fire alarm, and backup power
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, federal codes, and life safety standards
  • Collaborate with field leadership to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean worksite
