About The Position

AmeriTech Contracting, a HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Awardee, offers transitioning service members direct training in federal construction. As a Traveling Superintendent, you will lead on-site operations, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate subcontractors—building skills for a civilian career in construction leadership. Requirements

• 4+ years construction experience
• Strong knowledge of building methods and safety standards
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel and obtain security clearance
• Certifications (or willingness to obtain): OSHA 30, USACE CQM, EM 385-1-1, CPR/First Aid
• For active military members within final 180 days of service and approved for SkillBridge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and enforce safety protocols
• Review drawings, specs, and scopes of work
• Conduct inspections, manage punch lists, and maintain documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors and support project scheduling.
• Enforce Accident Prevention Plan (APP)
• Conduct safety audits and promote a proactive safety culture.
