About The Position

· Our foremen are expected to be an expert in the industry. · Foremen are responsible for supervising every aspect of a job. · The Foreman stands up for company values at all times and is a proud representative of the company, in all situations. · The Foreman must have a strong ability to work with and supervise employees · The Foreman is also responsible for security and safety on the job site. · The Foreman must be able to identify those areas of a project that are most at risk of delaying a project and taking any necessary corrective action to ensure that the project stays on schedule. · The Foreman is expected to monitor employee efforts, evaluate their progress, and provide workers with guidance and assistance to help increase efficiency. · The Foreman must also be familiar with relevant building codes so that all completed work meets or, ideally, exceeds all requirements for quality and safety. · When there are grievances between employees or complaints related to the work environment, it is the foreman who acts as the liaison between labor and management. · The Foreman must have the ability to read and follow sketches and blueprints and be savvy enough to make suggestions about changes whenever necessary. · The foreman is responsible for completing the project paperwork as needed in Zoho . · The Foreman is willing to make sacrifices for the better of the crew and the company. · The Foreman is well aware of company benefits and actively promotes them to the crew. · The Foreman can run the ‘Big Jobs’ on their own with no supervision. · The Foreman can run multiple projects at a time. · The Foreman is responsible for creating material lists for assigned projects. · The Foreman requests the equipment needed for the project.

Requirements

  • CDL - Class A
  • NCCCO Crane Certification
  • OSHA 30 Safety Training
  • Substantial construction experience.
  • Experience leading a crew
  • Proficient and professional in speaking/writing English.
  • Proficient at operating heavy equipment

Responsibilities

  • Supervising every aspect of a job

  • Ensuring work meets building codes
  • Acting as a liaison between labor and management
  • Reading and following sketches and blueprints
  • Completing project paperwork in Zoho
  • Promoting company benefits to the crew
  • Running big jobs independently
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Creating material lists
  • Requesting equipment
  • Enforcing all Judge Netting Mountain West jobsite safety policies
  • Completing daily JSA
  • Completing new JSA after 12 hours of work in one day
  • Completing Crane Inspection Report daily if crane is used
  • Completing Digger derrick Inspection Report – completed daily if truck is used
  • Performing safety inspections of equipment periodically or as directed
  • Following Judge Netting’s Accident Protocol in case of an accident
  • Reporting suspected intoxication immediately

  • Team is paid weekly
  • Medical coverage after 60 days of employment (company covers 85% of employee costs, employee covers 15% of their own costs and 100% of dependent costs)

  • $40 per day for per diem when working out of town (some exclusions apply)
  • $500 safety bonus (pro-rated based on hire date)

  • Overtime policy: Over 40 hours: 1.5 times the regular rate. Over 60 hours: 1.75 times the regular rate. Over 70 hours: double the regular rate.
