About The Position

Travel is a requirement for this opportunity. AVmedia Inc., is searching for experienced technicians and operators for our exciting production services team. We need audio, video, and lighting specialists to travel to client events or assist on-site at our partner venues. RESPONSIBILITIES Skillfully operate audio, lighting and/or video systems for small to medium-scale audiovisual events Capable of working in diverse environments that can range from ballrooms and convention centers to sports arenas, to outdoor venues Setup and strike efficiently and in an organized manner Troubleshoot challenges that may occur on-site Interact with clients onsite and deliver on their requests Work collaboratively and efficiently with all departments and on-site, as necessary, to confirm all equipment needs per assigned event Able to work during non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Adhere to all company policies, procedures, business ethics codes Maintain and protect all assets at all times from damage, misuse, or possible theft Build upon the AVmedia Culture, Core Values and Core Purpose by being a role model at all times Forge excellent relationships with Family members and key customers whenever possible Requirements RELATIONSHIPS & ROLES Proven proficiency in skill level and standards required for equipment operation Complete tasks and responsibilities with accountability and follow-up Act as a model in areas of personal character, commitment, organization Learn and continue to develop skills by taking classes and stay up to date on new equipment technologies Demonstrates ability to communicate, interact and cooperate with all family members Forge excellent relationships with AVmedia Family Members and Vendors Demonstrates ability to communicate, interact and cooperate with all company employees Exhibit strong relationship building skills Passion to build relationships with AVmedia Family Members KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Proficient in Audio, Lighting and/or Video systems and skillfully operate small to medium-scale audiovisual systems Minimum 3 years’ experience in live events, corporate events or show production Knowledge of current audio, visual and lighting used for show production, breakouts, exhibits and conventions Proven experience in as an audio visual operator in events, staging and/or show production AVmedia Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
