About The Position

At Benevis, the company aims to create happy, healthy smiles by providing quality, affordable dental care to underserved families. The Traveling Associate Dentist will join a growing team, supporting the mission to provide excellent dental care and create memorable experiences for children and adults. This role involves working with a team that values teamwork and patient care, participating in activities to promote a positive company image, and engaging in morning huddles. The patient base is primarily children (70% or more) with up to 30% adult population. The practice utilizes DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces. The provider-to-staff ratio is 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider. The office flow averages 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients, accepting state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payor mix.

Requirements

  • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
  • Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
  • Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
  • Willing and able to cover geographical area below: 144 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610; 1888 Main St, Hartford, CT 06120; 105 Myrtle St, New Britain, CT 06051; 531 Elm St, New Haven, CT 06511; 738 Wolcott St, Waterbury, CT 06705; 1070 St James Ave, Springfield, MA 01104

Responsibilities

  • Providing dental services to patients with the support of their team.
  • Hold staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programs.
  • Other duties as assigned
