Own the Flow of Our Precast Yard Picture your day beginning at the finishing area. You inspect the Travelift, review your checklist, and coordinate with your ground helper. One by one, you guide newly finished concrete members out to their precise locations in storage. When the Travelift is not in motion, you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with the bed crew—helping set up, pour, dry finish, and tackle rework to keep production moving. What You’ll Do Operate the Travelift to shuttle concrete members from the finishing area to the storage yard with precision and care. Work as a coordinated team: wait for your helper to complete hook-up and place wooden blocks before stacking any member. Stack members in their designated storage locations without damage, maintaining strict handling standards. Keep the finishing area clear daily by relocating completed members to storage. Jump in with the bed crew when not operating the Travelift—assist with set-up, pours, dry finishing, and directed rework. Complete a daily maintenance checklist and promptly report any Travelift or facility items needing repair to Maintenance. Record member storage locations each day and submit the report to the scheduler. Move all wire mesh and long rebar into production areas as needed. Unload materials from trucks (wire, rebar, forms, and other items). Rotate panels requiring sandblasting into A-racks, lower them safely after blasting, and transfer them to storage. Safety & Quality First Every action follows our Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe workplace and consistently high-quality products.
