About The Position

Traveler RN – Endoscopy / GI Position Location: Rochester, NY Position Type: Full-Time Weekly Gross Pay Up To $2684.00 Why This Role? Join a fast-paced, high-performing Endoscopy/GI team at a Level III facility where your clinical skills truly shine. This role is perfect for an experienced RN who enjoys procedural care, patient interaction, and working closely with physicians in a dynamic environment. Schedule Options Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM - Choose what works best for you: 5 × 8-hour shifts, or 4 × 10-hour shifts On call required for overnights and weekends

Requirements

Active NY RN License (Required – NY ONLY)
BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Telemetry experience required
Endoscopy/GI experience highly desired

Responsibilities

Educate patients, answer questions, and ease procedural concerns
Monitor and document patient vital signs
Sedate patients prior to procedures per protocol
Recover and assess patients' post-procedure
Administer medications and IV drips
Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and equipment
Assist physicians during procedures
Complete all required documentation, including patient notes and discharge paperwork
