About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for an overnight assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts . This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, performing high-quality diagnostic imaging while collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to support patient care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently during night shifts and possess strong technical expertise in diagnostic ultrasound procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (A.S.) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or completion of an accredited ultrasound certificate program.
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) – Abdomen and/or OB/GYN or Echo specialization.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic ultrasound in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight shifts.
• Strong technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a radiologist.
• Operate high-frequency, non-ionizing ultrasound equipment to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
• Follow physician orders and adhere strictly to established imaging protocols.
• Provide patient-centered care while addressing age-specific needs ranging from infants to older adults.
• Maintain, monitor, and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Accurately document imaging procedures in accordance with departmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain strong communication with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support efficient workflow.
• Uphold a professional and patient-focused approach to care and service.
