About The Position

The Ultrasound Technologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for performing high-quality obstetrical and gynecological sonographic examinations in an outpatient women’s health setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, patient-centered care, and the ability to independently conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.

Requirements

• Degree or certification as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Minimum 2+ years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience (required)
• At least 1 year of recent outpatient clinic experience within the past 3 years
• Demonstrated expertise in obstetrical and gynecological sonography
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound examinations in an outpatient clinic setting
• Conduct transabdominal and endovaginal sonographic procedures
• Accurately assess and document: Normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy, Fetal anatomy and biophysical profiles, Fetal anomalies, including ectopic pregnancies
• Identify and evaluate expected findings across all three trimesters of pregnancy
• Apply appropriate measurement techniques and imaging standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout procedures
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support diagnostic and care decisions
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
