About The Position

The Travel Technician at RelaDyne is responsible for supporting field service projects across various service offerings, focusing on maintenance and operational excellence. This role involves working in a continuous improvement culture to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency, ultimately providing value to customers. The position requires significant travel, with the technician expected to work away from home up to 75% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Requirements

  • Scheduling flexibility and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Six months to one year of experience working with pumps, valves, or as a field technician.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for safe operation of company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Basic mechanical ability, including the use of hand tools and safety equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to acquire a US Passport.
  • Experience with oil flushing processes and technical step progression.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on rotating equipment, including lubrication, filter exchange, and greasing systems.
  • Conduct diagnostic collection, including lubricant and vibration collection.
  • Attend daily safety and production meetings, adhering to site safety requirements.
  • Submit completed paperwork promptly after job execution.
  • Read and follow unit flow on P&IDs.
  • Operate oil transfer pumps and filtration equipment.
  • Perform visual inspections and repairs of oil distribution pipes and flushing hoses.
  • Record gauge and LCD readout values accurately.
  • Route pipe and bend tubing as directed by lead personnel.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment, performing essential maintenance and repairs.
  • Operate electric dolly for loading and unloading materials.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment on-site.
  • Discuss methodologies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
