Role Specifics and Benefits - Key Responsibilities: In this sterile processing role, you’ll perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and devices. You’ll manage sterilization cycles across steam, ethylene oxide, and other approved modalities, maintain instrument tracking and lot control, and ensure accurate packaging and labeling for OR readiness. You’ll uphold infection prevention standards, monitor sterilization indicators, document processing logs, and report any deviations. You’ll also help manage inventory, coordinate instrument availability with OR teams, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and patient safety.
