About The Position

Sentara Therapy Center - Williamsburg & Sentara Therapy Center – Coliseum are hiring a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work a 14-week assignment! Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Sentara Therapy Center – Williamsburg & Sentara Therapy Center – Coliseum (Hampton, VA) Temporary Full Time & Day Shift 2 days/week at Williamsburg location and 3 days/week at Hampton location Temporary Full Time 14-week assignment Day shift $60.00/hr! No benefits Overview Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiates, develops, and maintains collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs. Valid license required in state of practice.

Requirements

  • Valid license required in state of practice.
  • MLD – Master’s Level Degree – Speech Pathology
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (SLP) – Virginia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • 2 years of experience
