About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Social Worker for a 13-week travel assignment in Bethel, AK. Assignment: days, M-F Start Date: 3/10/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Traveler Policy: ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID-19 VACCINATIONS . Location: Bethel, AK 99559 Uses a holistic approach in provision of medical social services to patients and their families to assist in solving or ameliorating physical, social, emotional, and/or environmental problems that retard or prevent patients from attaining or retaining optimum health. Social services are provided to people of all ages, from the intra-uterine through the elderly.

Requirements

MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited school of Social Work
One (1) year of experience in a hospital or health-care setting.
State of Alaska license at Master’s level (LMSW) required.
A valid Alaska State driver’s license is required.
Basic knowledge of computer use.
Ability to read, comprehend & write at the college level & effectively present information in one-on-one & group situations to patients/clients, agencies, communities, & other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply/divide in all units of measure, with whole numbers, common fractions, & decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent; draw/interpret bar graphs.
Should be able to perform supervisory tasks when the supervisor is away, work independently, and collaborate with other social workers.
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
