About the position

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated individual to connect and establish relationships with Luxury Leisure agencies and travel managers. The role involves actively soliciting new business opportunities, developing long-term relationships with clients, and participating in industry tradeshows and organizations. The candidate will analyze business opportunities, maintain knowledge of market trends, and ensure accuracy in RFPs. The position requires participation in revenue management meetings, hosting FAM trips, and training property teams on travel industry expectations. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to negotiate contracts to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Actively connect and establish relationships with Luxury Leisure agencies.
  • Utilize network to connect and grow partnerships with Travel managers and related contacts.
  • Solicit new business opportunities through prospecting Business Travel managers and Travel Agencies.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
  • Familiarize and participate in key business travel and travel industry tradeshows.
  • Analyze requirements of business opportunities and maintain knowledge of market trends.
  • Ensure knowledge and accuracy in RFPs and all RFP platforms.
  • Participate in Weekly Revenue management meetings and communicate strategy to Revenue Director.
  • Host FAM trips and client education events/travel.
  • Train and educate property team on expectations and processes of the Travel Industry Segment.
  • Communicate updates for Business Travel and Travel Industry progress to Directors.
  • Negotiate contracts to maximize revenue and ensure client retention.
  • Work with Outside Hotel Partners in a collective manner.
  • Familiarize with marketing promotions and industry initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 1-3 years of Business Travel knowledge.
  • At least 1-3 years of Luxury Leisure sales experience.
  • At least 1-3 years with Wholesale/FIT segment experience.
  • At least 1-3 years in Corporate Consortia Segment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Progressive sales experience in a similar organization.
  • Two years as a supervisor/manager in a similar setting.
  • Solid knowledge of hotel service standards and guest relations.
  • Experience in leading and coordinating staff in a high volume environment.
