About The Position

This position is for a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The role involves developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient care plans for assigned patients and families, aligning with Vibra Travels' mission and values. The provision of care includes direct patient care, as well as delegating and supervising nursing care according to the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Key aspects of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving care quality, building professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing specialty-specific clinical expertise. Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP).
  • Compliance with federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.
