About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a RN Traveler for their Stepdown IMCU & Med-Surg floor! This is a Temporary Full Time Night Shift Position. $70 per hour. Department/Position Overview: This is a 34 bed unit with 17 for Med Surg and 17 for Intermediate Care Unit. The Nurse: Patient Ratio is 1:4 for IMCU and 1:6 for Med./Surg, Patient Population: Trauma/Burns, Orthopedic Trauma, Neurosurgery. The Registered Nurse will work in a collaborative role as part of a team to maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice, in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families, and the community.

Requirements

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience.
