About The Position

This travel program offers the opportunity to work for a single company with one recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. It provides access to local and non-local positions, a competitive hourly rate, and a tax-free stipend (if applicable). The program ensures no pay cuts mid-contract, offers a referral bonus of up to $1000, and includes license reimbursement for new state licenses. Employees can choose assignments at partner facilities across various health systems nationwide. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient and family care plans in line with Vibra Travels' mission and values. This includes direct care, delegation, and supervision of all nursing care according to the Nurse Practice Act. Key aspects of the RN role involve demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, building professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing specialty clinical expertise.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
  • Follow federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP)

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels.
  • Provide direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
