About The Position

The Registered Nurse develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families, aligning with Vibra Travels' mission and values. This role involves direct patient care, as well as the delegation and supervision of all nursing care, in strict adherence to the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Key aspects of the Registered Nurse position include demonstrating clinical competence, effectively managing patient care, actively working to improve the quality of care, fostering professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling all responsibilities associated with the hospital role, and continuously developing clinical expertise within their specialty.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP)
  • Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to project a professional image
