About The Position

This travel program offers Registered Nurses the opportunity to work for a single company across multiple assignments, providing continuity with one recruiter. The program offers both local and non-local positions with a competitive hourly rate and potential tax-free stipend. Benefits include no mid-contract pay cuts, referral bonuses, and license reimbursement for new state licenses. Nurses can choose assignments at various partner facilities nationwide. The position involves developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient care plans, promoting Vibra Travels' mission and values. It encompasses direct patient care, delegation, and supervision of nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, focusing on clinical competence, patient care management, quality improvement, professional relationships, and skill development.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP).
• Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening. Some states and locations may have different vaccine or screening requirements.

• 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate and revise a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels.
• Provide direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate clinical competence.
• Manage patient care.
• Improve quality of care.
• Establish professional relationships and utilize professional skills.
• Fulfill responsibilities of the role of the hospital.
• Develop clinical expertise per specialty.
• Supervise Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.
