The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty. Position Supervisory Responsibilites: Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs. Requirements

  • 1 year as Registered Nurse required, but may vary by client and setting
  • Recent acute care experience required
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
  • Additional certifications may be required by some clients.
  • Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening. Some states and locations may have different vaccine or screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • LTAC experience preferred
  • ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred
