About The Position

The Registered Nurse develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.
Requirements
- 1 year as Registered Nurse required (may vary by client and setting; prior LVN/LPN experience may be considered to meet the 1 year requirement, depending on the assignment)
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
- Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor
- Additional certifications such as ACLS may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client
- Compliance with federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening
Nice To Haves
- AHA preferred for BLS certification
