About The Position
Heartline Staffing, a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment supporting an acute care hospital in Santa Monica, California. POSITION SUMMARY The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse provides 1:1 patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role requires strong experience with procedural sedation, vascular access, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a procedural environment. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Location: Santa Monica, CA Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 02/16/2026 Shift: Days – 5x8s (08:00–16:30) Patient Ratio: 1:1 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Call Requirement: Yes, weekday and weekend call required Floating: Not required COMPENSATION Regular Hourly Rate: $30.00 Overtime Rate: $45.00 Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,200.00 Weekly Travel Stipend: $1,939.00 Total Weekly Compensation: $3,139.00 WORK ENVIRONMENT This role supports adult and geriatric patients in an Interventional Radiology setting and includes pre- and post-procedure care, procedural sedation monitoring, and recovery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience is required.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Active California RN license must be in hand. Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Epic charting experience is required.
- Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring is required.
- Ability to provide 1:1 patient care is required.
- Required call coverage includes weekday and weekend rotations.
- Every other weekend rotation is required.
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submission.
