About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel RN – Interventional Radiology for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Requirements
- Active NY Registered Nurse License (required)
- Minimum 2+ years recent critical care experience (ICU, ED, or PACU strongly preferred)
- Proven competency in IV insertion, phlebotomy & conscious sedation (required)
- AHA BLS & ACLS (required)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care
- Assist radiologists and technologists with sterile procedures
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation per safety protocols
- Perform accurate IV starts and phlebotomy
- Continuously assess and document patient status and response
- Respond rapidly to emergent/high-acuity clinical situations
- Educate patients/families on recovery and discharge expectations
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient workflow
