About The Position

This travel program offers the opportunity to work for a single company with one recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. Both local and non-local positions are available, offering a competitive hourly rate in addition to a tax-free stipend (if applicable) and no pay cuts mid-contract. Benefits include a referral bonus (up to $1000 per referral) and license reimbursement if traveling to a new state requiring a new license. Employees can choose assignments at partner facilities from various health systems across the country. The Registered Nurse develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families, promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. Care provision includes direct care, delegation, and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Key aspects of the RN role involve demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital role responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
• Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening. Some states and locations may have different vaccine or screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP)

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels.
• The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
