About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy license.
• Current BLS certification.
• NRP certification.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of airway management, respiratory protocols, and patient monitoring.
• Experience working with neonatal and pediatric populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions and provide appropriate respiratory interventions.
• Initiate and manage ventilatory support, including ventilator setup, troubleshooting, weaning, and lung-protective strategies.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABGs, sputum collection, bedside spirometry, and capnography.
• Respond to codes and rapid response events, and assist with intubations, conscious sedation, and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Administer oxygen, Heliox, high-flow oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and non-invasive ventilation.
• Provide trach care, suctioning, airway maintenance, documentation, billing support, and staff education as needed.
