About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry for a night-shift assignment in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience and demonstrate confidence in managing complex patient care during overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
• 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• 2 years of experience assisting with conscious sedation
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State RN License
• Primary source verification of RN license through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
• AHA BLS Certification (required)
• AHA ACLS Certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies per provider orders
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as needed
• Assist with conscious sedation procedures when applicable
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
