About The Position

Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring a Temporary RN Internal Traveler for their Post Surgery Unit! Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Surgery Unit Sentara Leigh Hospital - Norfolk, VA $65.00/hr pay rate Temporary Full Time 14-week assignment NIGHT shift No benefits Education: Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Certification/Licensure: Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) NIH Stroke Scale Experience: Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience. Department Overview: This is a 24-bed blended observation/med-surg unit. RN to patient ratio is 1:6. We usually have around 50% Observation/50% Inpatient. Many of our patients are here for syncope/stroke, cardiac/chest pain, AMS/UTI, & COPD. You will have the opportunity to encourage patients on their recovery journey.
