About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from admission through discharge
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate daily operating room activities, including case flow and room readiness
• Supervise ancillary personnel and assist with charge nurse responsibilities as assigned
• Manage surgical supplies, equipment, and medications to ensure efficiency and safety
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff development, and nursing informatics systems
• Provide patient education, uphold confidentiality standards, and maintain a safe, professional care environment
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
