About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity acute care environment. The RN will deliver comprehensive patient care, including cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and rapid response intervention, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Recent acute care experience within the past 6 months
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Active New York State RN License (Required)
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
• NIHSS Certification – Required (if available)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy/phlebotomy
• Manage oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support
• Participate in Rapid Response and Code Team events
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Adhere to infection control and isolation protocols
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed
