Role specifics and benefits: As a Med Surg RN, you’ll deliver comprehensive inpatient care across medical-surgical units, performing patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and post-operative monitoring. You’ll develop and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians, charge nurses, and rehab specialists; educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and symptom management; and document care accurately to support safe transitions.
