Role Specifics and Benefits: - Core responsibilities: Provide comprehensive med-surg nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, including initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and timely interventions for acute and chronic conditions. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, manage IV therapies and wound care, perform accurate documentation, and coordinate discharge planning with families and care teams. Employ evidence-based practices to prevent complications, promote safe patient progress, and support transitions of care. Use effective communication to educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, medications, and post-discharge plans.
