Responsibilities

Continuous telemetry monitoring, interpretation of rhythm strips, and rapid escalation when cardiac events are detected.
Management of post-operative patients, acute medical conditions, chronic disease exacerbations, IV therapies, wound care, and complex symptom management.
Collaboration with physicians, charge nurses, and care teams to develop and execute individualized care plans, discharge planning, and transition of care.
Administration of medications, careful assessment of drug interactions, and reconciliation at handoffs.
Patient and family education on treatment plans, self-care strategies, medication safety, and warning signs requiring follow-up.
