About The Position
A acute care facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Travel RN to join their clinical team. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry, IV, and phlebotomy skills and the ability to deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Ability to perform own IV starts and phlebotomy
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working in a telemetry-focused inpatient unit
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process
- Monitor patients on telemetry and promptly respond to changes in condition or emergencies
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy independently
- Administer medications safely and document accurately per facility policy
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
