Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

TLC NursingHonolulu, HI
26d$2,465 - $2,620

About The Position

Step into a pivotal role as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Honolulu, Hawaii, where your clinical leadership and compassionate care shape one of life’s most meaningful moments. This opportunity puts you at the heart of a high-acuity obstetric team, collaborating with obstetricians, midwives, and neonatal staff to guide mothers and babies through labor, birth, and the crucial minutes after delivery. In Hawaii, every shift offers more than clinical challenge: it’s a chance to practice evidence-based care while benefiting from a culture of warmth, teamwork, and patient advocacy. Bring your expertise to a setting that respects the rhythm of birth and honors cultural traditions, and enjoy the balance that island living offers—sun, sea, and the sense of purpose that comes from helping families begin their newest chapter. Location Benefits: Honolulu provides a dynamic urban hub with access to top-tier maternity services, specialized perinatal teams, and opportunities for cross-department collaboration. You’ll experience a supportive nursing leadership structure, robust orientation, and ongoing mentorship that accelerate growth. For those who want breadth, the role offers the possibility to extend within the network or rotate to other U.S. locations through our travel program, exposing you to diverse patient populations, care models, and obstetric practices while you retain a consistent employer, core benefits, and job security. In addition, you’ll enjoy Hawaii’s famous natural beauty, from pristine beaches to lush landscapes, which can enrich your work-life balance and resilience. Role Specifics and Benefits: As the L&D RN, your responsibilities include monitoring labor progress and fetal well-being, administering analgesia and anesthesia in collaboration with anesthesia teams, assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, supporting emergent deliveries, and providing immediate newborn care, resuscitation if needed, and mother-infant bonding facilitation. You’ll educate families on prenatal expectations, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and newborn care, document care precisely, and advocate for patient-centered birth plans. The role offers clear pathways for professional growth: specialty certifications, leadership development, and targeted skill-building in obstetric emergencies, neonatal transition, and lactation support. We provide a competitive compensation package with a weekly pay range of $2,465-$2,620, and guaranteed hours of 48 per week. A sign-on bonus may be available, along with comprehensive housing assistance to ease relocation and contract extensions or longer assignments based on mutual interest and performance. You’ll receive extensive support, including 24/7 travel assistance, credentialing help, scheduling coordination, and access to clinical resources whenever you need them. Company Values: Our organization is built on empowering nurses to advance their careers while fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where patient safety and compassion come first. We invest in your growth through structured onboarding, mentorship, continuing education stipends, and transparent pathways to expanded responsibilities as you gain experience. You’ll join a culture that values integrity, collaboration, and respect, with leaders who listen, respond, and invest in your success.
