About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse for a short-term travel assignment at a well-established acute-care hospital in Brooklyn, NY . This role is ideal for RNs with strong procedural experience in EP Lab, Cardiac Catheterization, or Interventional Radiology who are seeking a focused, high-impact assignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab or comparable procedural experience
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • Pre- and post-procedure patient care
  • Administration of antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, and IV vasopressors
  • Procedural sedation monitoring and use of reversal agents
  • Thrombolytic therapy
  • IV therapy and blood product administration
  • PICC line and port access and maintenance
  • ACT management
  • Cardioversion
  • Sheath removal and use of vascular closure systems
  • Procedural sedation monitoring
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS) utilization
  • Infection prevention and isolation precautions
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Comfortable managing 1:4 patient ratios

Nice To Haves

  • Prior charge nurse experience preferred
  • Experience in teaching or community hospital environments preferred
  • First-time travelers welcome
