About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a full-time Night Travel Registered Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at South Idaho Correctional Institution located in Kuna, ID. Our Travel Program Registered Nurses are part of an exciting travel team who works between various Department of Corrections facilities, while enjoying the benefits of having convenient “block” scheduling, outstanding benefits, exceptional compensation, and lodging/meal stipends. The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Idaho, per contract needs. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
