About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a high-acuity cardiac critical care setting. This role involves caring for post-operative cardiac patients and managing advanced cardiovascular devices.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience preferred
- Experience with cardiovascular devices and CABG recovery preferred
- Must live 100+ miles from facility (proof required)
Nice To Haves
- CCRN certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive care to cardiovascular ICU patients
- Manage post-operative CABG and cardiac surgery patients
- Monitor and manage cardiovascular devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Float to telemetry unit as needed within the same floor (4:1 patient ratio)
