Role Specifics and Benefits: In CVICU, you’ll deliver round-the-clock critical care for adults recovering from complex cardiac surgeries and severe cardiopulmonary conditions. Core responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasoactive and inotropic support, ventilator management, post-operative care for CABG, valve procedures, and ECMO/assist devices as applicable, and collaboration with surgeons, perfusion teams, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists to coordinate care plans. You’ll lead patient and family education, coordinate seamless handoffs during shift changes, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds to drive evidence-based decisions.
