Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the cath lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist with patient preparation, procedural setup, sterile technique, and equipment handling.
- Monitor real-time cardiovascular status, arterial access, anticoagulation management, and post-procedure recovery.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiology physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety, timely case flow, and accurate documentation.
- Support radiologic safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Educate patients and families about post-procedure care, activity restrictions, and follow-up steps.
- Participate in debriefings and contribute to continuous performance improvement within the cath lab team.
