The dietitian collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal nutrition care is integrated into the overall treatment plan.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an ACEND-accredited program.
  • Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of your assignment
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
  • Proficient in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a registered dietitian in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in specialized areas (e.g., CNSC, CDE) preferred but not required.
