About The Position

This travel program offers a unique opportunity to work for a single company across multiple assignments, rather than dealing with various agencies. The Hospital Dietitian is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing medical nutrition therapy for patients of all ages and diagnoses, adhering to evidence-based guidelines. This role requires close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that optimal nutrition care is fully integrated into the patient's overall treatment plan.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an ACEND-accredited program.
• Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of your assignment
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Proficient in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities.
• Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a registered dietitian in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients

Nice To Haves

• Certification in specialized areas (e.g., CNSC, CDE) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, and implementing medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages and diagnoses in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
• Collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal nutrition care is integrated into the overall treatment plan.
