Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Radiology Special Procedures Tech, you’ll be at the forefront of interventional workflows, collaborating with interventional radiologists and surgical teams during a range of procedures that rely on advanced imaging guidance. Your daily responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, setting up and operating fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety, and managing contrast administration under established protocols. You’ll assist with arterial and venous access, catheter guidance, catheter exchanges, and sterile field maintenance, while monitoring patient status and radiologic equipment performance.
