Responsibilities
- Operating high-field MRI scanners
- Selecting and optimizing imaging protocols
- Positioning patients for comfort and accuracy
- Ensuring image quality meets radiologist standards
- Screening for contraindications
- Monitoring safety
- Administering contrast when required
- Implementing sequence modifications to obtain optimal diagnostic detail
- Collaborating with radiologists and technologists to deliver precise imaging results
- Documenting procedures thoroughly
- Participating in quality assurance initiatives
- Attention to radiation safety, infection control, and patient communication
