Responsibilities

• Acquire and interpret echocardiographic images, including 2D and Doppler modalities, transesophageal possibilities as needed, and stress echo workflows, ensuring high-quality studies that facilitate accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, sonographers, and physicians to troubleshoot imaging challenges, optimize protocols, and standardize imaging quality across sites.
• Manage patient preparation, positioning, and safety, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that minimizes anxiety and maximizes cooperation during examinations.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement through adherence to accreditation standards, documentation accuracy, and timely report delivery.
• Pursue professional development opportunities in advanced imaging techniques, contrast echocardiography, and expanded role certifications to grow within the specialty.
