Responsibilities

• delivering safe, accurate CT imaging
• operate sophisticated scanners
• adhere to established protocols
• collaborate with radiologists to optimize scan speed and image quality
• patient preparation and communication
• contrast administration when indicated
• selecting parameters to optimize resolution and minimize radiation exposure
• monitoring and maintaining patient safety
• performing post-scan QA to ensure readiness for interpretation
• document findings in the PACS
• participate in multi-disciplinary teams
• contribute to process improvements that reduce exam times and improve patient flow
